Let Nothing Be Wasted
Peer Magazine, a Salvation Army’s Youth Publication, invited me to create a lettering illustration for their Magazine’s verse page. The verse that needed lettering design is from Hebrew’s 12:1b-2a which says, “And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”
Concept/vision:
Bea Barros took inspiration from the word “race”, thereby featuring human characters running in a race and wearing activewear. The palette included light blue colors with touches of pink, green and purple that leaned toward the cool and softer shades to elicit calmness and peace.
